Aisha Jamila Hinds has been an American actor for more than a decade. Her roles are in The Shield as well as True Blood. Since her debut she has demonstrated her versatility by performing on shows like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. The first time she was noticed was for her performance as Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. The first time she was recognized was for her part in the biographical documentary All the Way. Hind was praised for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the show for a 3rd season. Hind is currently filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is scheduled to release mid-2019. The place she was born is Mangalore, in India. The father Krishnaraj was employed as an Army scientist. He died on 18 March 2017. The mother Vrinda works at home. Aditya Rai, the older brother, is a marine merchant engineer. The older brother of Bachchan's Aditya is was a co-producer and wrote Dil Ka Rishta along with their mother. The actress was a student at Arya Vidya Mandir High School in Mumbai where her family had moved to. Jai Hind College in Mumbai is where she completed her secondary schooling in one year, before she started at D.G. Ruparel College Matunga was where she scored 90% in her H.S.C. exams. Bachchan became the Queen of Bollywood by playing Paro the lover who was betrayed In Devdas, (2002). Devdas was one of Bollywood's most successful films. It also was the first film that was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Chokher (2002), a dramatized version of RabindranathTagore novel Chokher (2003) was praised by the critics. The same year, she served as the only Indian actress in the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan was in Bride and Prejudice, a musical and dancing adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice by Gurinderchadha. It was at this point that Bachchan added her star-power and attractiveness to her first major film in English. After releasing Provoked: A True Story in English, she returned to Bollywood and appeared in the blockbuster Dhoom: 2 (2007). Abhishek Bachchan married her in April 2007. He's both an Bollywood star and regular co-star.
